Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I am going through a really bad divorce. I have not asked for any financial support for my self or my children. the only thing I asked for was to keep my car. Come to find out my husband stop making payments to his best friend for the car, he Wants the car back, I have even tried to take over the payments but he raised them by 150 a month. Now his is demanding the car back. My question is do I have to return the car when that is the only thing I asked for in the divorce and i have not been able to serve my husband sio I do not have a court ruling on it yet but have filed. What should I do

If the car was purchased during the marriage, then you have just as much right to keep it as he does.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options in this issue plus any others related to your divorce. We can also help you get him served. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
