Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
I bought a do it yourself divorce kit. In it it says I would have had to be married 5 years or more to use the kit, It's been 2.5. Why?

I actually can't answer that question, because there's nothing in Arizona law that requires that you be married a certain amount of time before filing for divorce. Since I can't vouch for the quality of the documents, I recommend you obtain your forms from the "e-court" service available on the website of the Superior Court of Arizona: www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov, self-service center, forms, family law forms. The process may be very similar to what you have with the do-it-yourself kit, the court's forms/instructions are probably more reliable.
That makes no sense. We can certainly assist you in completing the documents, or even handle the process ourself for a flat fee.
We also can structure assistance to help you represent yourself if your prefer.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
