Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Name change at school for minor child

My 9 year old stepdaughter desires to USE mine and her recently married mothers new name at school. Would this require a legal name change or could we just enroll her in school as such?

Re: Name change at school for minor child

I would expect that the schools are going to require some documentation to show her name change.

If the natural father would consent, it should be easy to do. If he does not, there still are options to do so.

I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. There is too much to cover via e'mail (and I am not the greatest typist). Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case. I look forward to talking with you.
