Re: Child abduction while married

You need to file for divorce in Arizona and seek emergency temporary orders relative to preventing either one of you from removing the child from the state. If you are interested in discussing this matter with our firm, please call. Alternatively, you can download the necessary forms from www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov and go to self service center under family court.

Re: Child abduction while married

In Arizona, you can file for Dissolution or Legal Separation. Once he is served, he is PROHIBITED from removing the child from the state without written permission from you or the Court.

Thus, your best step is to file immediately, and have him served. You can also request Temporary emergency Orders of custody.

Please contact me directly if you desire our assistance in this matter.
