Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Child Custody

My Ex and I were never married and we're currently in a child support battle. Since my daughter lives with me to I automatically have full custody? If not how can I obtain it?

Re: Child Custody

If you are the mother, then the law presumes you have custody. If there was no paternity established then that will have to happen as part of the child support matter. If there is no custody matter pending, then it's not an issue. If the father wants to establish custody and parenting time, he could file an action in superior court.
