Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Child custody

My parents, about a year ago, obtained emergency temporary custody of my daughters. I was never informed of the court date, so therfore I did not go. Since then I have seen my daughters weekly if not twice a week as to the discretion of my parents. I want to see them more frequently but my parents are making it very difficult to do so. My parents have money for a lawyer, etc and I do not. I need to know what I have to do to get this court order modified.

Re: Child custody

Thank you for your inquiry. In order to ask the court to change the custody arrangements, you have to be able to show that there has been a change in circumstances since the original order was entered, and that it would no longer be detrimental for the children to be placed in your custody.

We offer a free initial consultation, so please contact the office to schedule at time that we can speak.

Sincerely,

Monica Donaldson
