Since there are no previous court orders, it is important you file a request to establish paternity, custody, parenting time and support prior to her leaving. She would technically be free to leave the state otherwise(and even if you file she may be able to leave the state). Feel free to call my office to set up a consultation. Make sure you get educated on the issues.

You could and should file a Paternity Action, which will establisg both parents' rights and responsibilities. She doe not have the right to tell you when and where you can see your own child.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
