Child wants to leave custodial parent
I have a neice who lives in Arizona, will be turning 16 end of May. She has been accepted to school in Calif, where her father lives. What does father need to do to get custody of child that wants to leave mother, but mother will not let her go.

He will have to go to court and obtain an order changing the custody from mom to dad. That would be in the state which is the child's home state or where the original custody order was made, if one of the parents still resides in that state.
