mM child drowned yesterday and cps is investigating us. They told us today at 2pm that we had to do u/a and hair follicle tests by 8pm tonight, based on neighbor accusal. Do we have to-and what if we dont

Yes you absolutely must comply with CPS requests, particularly if you have other children in the home. Be EXTREMELY careful about what is said because no doubt, you will also be considered for criminal investigation. You should perhaps talk to a criminal defense attorney who handles CPS matters.
