child support

ex is custodial parent and got braces on two of our children without consulting with me. Proceedure is not covered by insurance and even though I am required to pay percentage of medical not covered by insurance does that include elective medical proceedures?

If you have joint custody she should have consulted you. If the braces were medically necessary though, you are likely to have to pay your share. You might want to discuss it with the orthodontist.
