Child support is calculated based on several factors, including the parents' incomes, the cost of medical insurance and child care, and the parenting time schedule. The fact that you've separated so long ago shouldn't matter so long as you still have at least one child under the age of 18.

We offer a free initial consultation, so please contact our office to schedule a time to speak with one of our attorneys regarding your options.

Yes. In fact you are allowed to request that child support be retroactive for up to three years. He will get credit for what he paid in that time, if any.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
