Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
We have three children, how is child support amount determined ?
2 Answers from Attorneys
Child support is calculated based on a statutory formula that takes into consideration some specific factors. These factors include (but are not limited to): the parents' incomes (including spousal maintenance paid/received); the cost of child care; the cost of the children's health insurance; and the parenting time schedule exercised by the parents. If the children have special or extraordinary needs, the expenses related to those needs can also be considered in the calculation.
We offer a free initial consultation, so please call our office to schedule a time to meet with one of our attorneys regarding the details of your situation.
