Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Children In home

Im trying to get 50% custody of my children but my Ex-wife says that because my GF & her two children live w/ me that I will never be able to have my kids live with me because AZ law says that we can't have that many children living with us. Is this true?

Re: Children In home

Thanks for your email. You didn't indicate how many children you have, how many bedrooms there are, or the genders/ages of the children. These are all relevant factors in determining whether the court could find it in the best interests of your children to modify the current arrangements.

We offer a free initial consultation, so please contact our office (480.792.9770) to arrange a time to speak with one of our attorneys regarding the details of your situation.

Re: Children In home

That is not true. A modification of custody would be based upon the totality of circumstances.

We can absolutely assist you in your effort to seek joint custody.

I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.
