Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
Community Property
I want to file for divorce and I want my husband to move out of the house. He says that if I file for divorce he can force me to sell the house because of community property. The house is in my name only, and the money for the down payment came from a lawsuit over the death of my mother. Is he right?

Re: Community Property
The answer depends upon whether you added his name to the Deed. Either way, he still may not be able to force you to sell.
