How do I get a court order for a marriage for a female under 16 years of age?

I believe that you have to be at least 16 to marry, but you need notarized parental consent... If the female is under 16... you have to petition the court for the order... and include the notarized parental consent.Marriage is a big decision... and although people believe they are mature when they marry... even folks over 40 struggle with what it means to be married. I am not sure what the court will require you to prove before he or she grants the order..... but I suspect that maturity is one of the issues. And of course another issue for a male over 18 could be statutory rape if there has been sex with a minor.... tread carefully.
