Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
custodial parent having wages garnished for my minor children
I am the custodial parent (Father) of 2 minor children. My wages have been garnished the entire time i have had legal and sole custudy of them, approx 5 years.I have tried to go thru the court systems but I am confused about what may be the proper argument in court acting Pro Se.The money they say I owe is for back support but i can never get the same answer twice from any DES agent,I have been frustrated to the point of just paying the 225.00 a month rather then try to get it corrected.I've had all i can take of this. The mother is no where to be found and i do not recieve support from her anyway. What do i file to have this stopped and what argument should i make when and if i get in court? also the amount the court says i owe changes each time i ask for a ballance up and down from 10k-30k

You need to file a Petition to Modify. Every month you wait is a month you most likely lose!
I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.
Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Audrey to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation. I look forward to talking with you.
