My pregnant daughter doesn't want her former boyfriend named as father on the birth certificate and intends to leave it blank. Can she still get child support?

The name on the BC is only indicia that he is the father. The ultimate determination is in the paternity test unless they both acknowledge he is the father. Once he is determined to be the father, CS can be ordered. However, if he is determined to be the father, he is likely to request his name be added to the BC anyway.
