Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Custody

Ex girlfriend is having my child. I want to be there for the whole process but she wont allow me. She also threatens to take the child away from ever knowing me. My question is: is there a way i can be there legally for the doctor visits leading up to birth. And second. What can i do to ensure i am part of this childs life? i dont want to take sole custody but she keeps saying i have no rights and she will do what she wants regardless. what can i do?

Re: Custody

YOu cannot do anything yet because there is no baby. You have to wait until the baby is born and you can immediately request paternity, custody and parenting time. I suggest you continue to make your requests to be involved and document it. If she refuses and it is your baby, you would address that to the court to show her bad faith. When the baby is close to being born, let me know and I can work with you in completing the process.
