custody

I signed over the custody of my two boys to the paternal and maternal grandparents about a year and a half ago, I now want to get custidy back and the father is no longer in the picture. I was never married to him. What is the first step?

Depends on whether it was custody or guardianship. I would first notify the grandparents of your intention to reunite with the boys.
