Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My daughters' ages 11 and 16 (both birthdays are in 2 months) after 10 yrs of no contact with his daughters, their father is inforcing visitation with them. They told him and the court that they do not want to have a relationship with him but the judge basically said "oh well" and are being forced to start visits. In Az, what can be done and aren't they old enough to be heard?

I would need to know more about what has already been filed and Orders. BUT YES, IN Arizona, the children's desire are supposed to be considered as one factor of many.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
