IF YOU WANT TO, you are allowed to waive past and future child support. BUT, HE CANNOT FORCE you to do so, and this decision must of course be very carefully considered.

I can draft both the Termination of Parental Right document and the Waiver of Child Support document.

You may want to pounce on him while he remains willing. I have a strong "Relinquishment of Parental Rights" document that has been developed over a period of years by myself and another attorney, which has been upheld in each instance when a parent tried to change their mind later.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

I can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail. Please ask for your consult to be with me specifically, as I handle these types of agreements for the firm.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
