Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
My daughters live out of town with their father and step mother. They are with me for 2week visit. Their dad works out of town and they are left with step mother. She and her teenage daughter are abusing them in their father's absence. Is it best to file an order of protection on their behalf or an emergency change of custody?

Depending on the circumstances, you might want to do both. I recommend you speak with a lawyer in the county where your current orders are entered as soon as possible to get direct guidance and determine your best course of action.
Call us soon. You can, and perhaps should, do both.
We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
