My Daughter's mom moved from the state with no forwarding address...

My Daughter's mom moved from the state with no forwarding address. Now I have no way of contacting my Daughter. She is the custodial parent, she moved from AZ to WA. Can she do this?

She moved to be with her new husband who is in the Army.

You have the right to Petition the Court to Order that the child be returned, or at least to modify your access to "long distance access".

There are required procedures for a relocation that it sounds like she did not follow. There can and should be repercussions for that failure on her part.

We can absolutely help.

I can explain the issues and procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.
