Re: day care and support
The quick answer is yes. Child Support in Arizona is determined by a formula that takes into account the income of both parents, whether other children are being supported (proof of payment is normally required), age of child (theres a 10% increase for teenagers), medical insurance costs, child care costs, and amount of visitation by the non-custodial parent. The best resources to explain child support and how its determined in found at the Arizona Supreme Court web site http://www.supreme.state.az.us/childsup/ you can read some information and then near the bottom select ARIZONA CHILD SUPPPORT GUIDELINES for good overview of how the monthly amount is determined. Then back to the site listed and select the blue button box CALCULATE SUPPORT. This is a calculator which you can run the numbers on yourself. Note: its ok to run the calculator with various income and other amounts, no one is tracking what you calculate. Good Luck,
