Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
division of property
once forms are filed can items be changed as to who gets them. We had a robbery that forced us to replace many items that were owned individually before the marraige, since replaced during are they community property?

Re: division of property
I am not sure what "forms" you are referring to.
Typically, when specific property is "separate" in nature, and is replaced during the marriage, the replacement property should also be separate property.
However, certain actions can change the nature of separate property during the marriage.
Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss this in greater detail.
