Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Divorce, collecting spousal maintance

I need to find out what the usual waiting time is for recieving spousal maintance that has been granted by the Judge. My divorce was final on Sept. 7th of this year and I can not get any answers from the people at county clerks office. All that they have told me is that his company has 14 days to comply after they recieve the court order. Is there a standard amount of time that I should expect to wait before recieving it? If so what is it? And if I don't ever recieve it, who do I contact? It is a wage garnisment.

Re: Divorce, collecting spousal maintance

This is something your attorney can tell you. Find out whether the decree was served on the employer and when you can expect payments to begin.
