First of all is there a reason she will not divide everything in half, for example do you make a lot more money than she does? What happened to the divorce actin filed in Nov. 2002? Was it dismissed or did it go throught. Is the request for renewal a motion to cont. on the inactive calender? Just be careful, you do not what to be defaulted. There are few questions that need to be answered. Also is this a AZ or NV case? Good Luck and pay attention to the documents you may receive. The last thing you want is to be in default.

The Court can choose to renew the matter even if you do not agree. If the matter is not renewed, she can simply choose to refile a new Petition, and the new date for determining the division of property and debts would be the date of service of the second Petition. This can have positive or negative financial repercussions.
