divorce

my husband divorced his wife. during their marriage she obtained credit cards in his name. he never used or saw these cards. she has balances on all of them. how do we go about getting those cards canceled and the balances she made her responsability?

the first place you have to look to is their decree. If it ordered that to occur and she has failed to do so then you could file a contempt or enforcement action. If the court did not order it or the parties did not agree to that in their decree then he is likely stuck with it as long as she is paying. If she is not, then he has to ask the court to enforce the terms of the decree but forcing her to pay.
