Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Divorce Judge forgot to award child support

I recently had a divorce trial..both my ex and I represented ourselves. The judge had already awarded me $471/month child support in a previous hearing, but couldnt award back-support because my ex filed bankruptcy the day before our hearing. I got the bankruptcy stay lifted, and we went back to court to divide assets and debts. I asked the judge to award back-support back to the date of the divorce filing. In his ruling that we got last week, he addressed all of the financial issues I brought up except the back child support. Is it possible that he made a mistake and forgot to rule on that? How do I find out? Should I file a motion to request that he rule on the back child support?

Re: Divorce Judge forgot to award child support

go ahead and file a motion for new trial or motion for reconsideraton. you have to do it immediately because under the rules of procedure, you only have 15 days from the date of the judgment. He absolutely should have entered orders on CS because previous temporary orders are no longer applicable. ALso, Bankruptcy should have had no affect on CS anyway.
