Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

The divorce petition and response was filed in 10/09. Temporary orders were set during a hearing in 12/09. No further action has occurred. Is there a specific time at which the case will be automatically dismissed, or placed on an inactive calendar eligible to be reactivated at some future date? In any case, does the court notify both parties?

Typically, after a few months of non-activity, the Court will notify both parties in writing of a dismissal date unless certain actions are taken.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for either pursuing this matter or having it dismissed.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
