Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
Divorce in a different state
My husband and I were married in Virginia. We have not lived together since January of 2005. He still lives in VA but I've been living in Arizona since August. We have no children or assets to worry with. I cannot get in touch with him to resolve this matter. I need to file for divorce but with the circumstances as they are, I have no idea what to do next.

Re: Divorce in a different state
You can file in Arizona, but there may be jurisdictional issues. You also may need to proceed "by publication" if we cannot locate your Husband.
We can absolutely help.
I can explain the procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.
Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.
