Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I was divorced in early 2000 and my wife received a quildro from my fire department pension. She has long since re-married and my children are for the most part grown up and out of the house. How long does she continue to receive the quildro?

Such depends upon the terms of the QDRO. BUT, in most instances, she is entitled to whatever percentage she is getting for the remainder of your life. IF SHE HAS "survivor benefits", then her entitlement may extend beyond your lifetime.

If you believe steps need to be taken, we can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
