Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My ex and I got divorced and then she was remarried. Now six years alter she is divorced. She is currently a real estate agent but not working because she is going to school. She wants to take me back to court for more support based on her having no income because she chose to go back to school. Will the courts attribute her an income based on past jobs?

Because she voluntarily has diminished her income, you have a very strong argument that she should be attributed income based upon her historical earnings.

If she does pursue a modification, we can certainly help you. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
