emotional pain of a 10 yr. old

My 10 yr. old does not want to spend more than a few hours with his father and told his father that he will run away from his father's house if forced to go. My son does not want to follow the court order regarding his father's access time. Am I required to physically force my son to go?

This is an issue that is probably beyond the ken of the law. The court order regarding visitation must be followed. However, before asking the court to re-enforce or modify it, try to find out why your son does not want to spend time with his father. Maybe individual and/or family counseling would be in order.
