Re: enforcement of terms of settlement agreement
The short answer is no. But the spouse may characterize it differently. Generally, the terms of a divorce decree are final, and cannot be modified. The court continues to have jurisdiction over child custody, child support and, in most cases, alimony. Please feel free to email me to discuss this further at my website www.divorcelawyermn.com or directly at [email protected].
