Engagement Ring

I was engaged and my fiance ended our relationship. i have the engagment ring. he asked me to marry him Before he had a ring. we picked out a ring after we were engaged. he is asking for the ring so that he can give it back to the store and not have to make the rest of the payments. my question is if he's the one who broke off the relationship, who get the ring?

generally, it is merely a promise to get married and is not considered a gift. However, since he broke off the engagement, you should be able to keep it.
