Estate Proceeds/Divorce

My parents estate left an IRA account to which my sister and I are beneficiaries. The estate currently is involved in a law suit which is expected to take some time to conclude. If in the meantime my wife and I separate and or divorce, am I obligated to split any remaining proceeds from the estate or the IRA with her if we divorce before the estate is settled?

Generally, any inheritance is your sole and separate property if it is maintained separately. So, she would not be entitled to anythig under the facts as you presented.
