Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
My ex-husband and I have joint legal custody, and he has "final say" in the case of educational matters. Our son is 16 and would like to "attend" e-school with the idea of possibly looking for work, and I'd like to home school. My ex- wants our son in public school. Can he block us in any way if we find a public school on-line?

I haven't seen your court orders, but if your ex-husband truly has "final say" when it comes to educational matters, then yes he can object to schooling that you set up and can demand alternative schooling that meets with his approval. However, it seems odd he would have the "final say" on schooling as this is usually joint ("equal") or solely in one parent. Maybe you should return to court and have this aspect of parenting modified. Best of luck!
