Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
My exwife and I have joint legal custody and equal parenting time. Our two kids have to go to a new school this year (at the old school I drove them 20miles each day back and forth for 2 years). I want to either home school, enroll the kids in a school that is between our two houses (we live 20 miles apart) or have the kids go to a school by our house for half the year and by her house for the other half. She is not willing to compromise and enrolled the kids on her own at schools by her house (20 and 25miles away). Our parenting plan requires mediation before we request a hearing. I have requested mediation through the courts and am waiting.
In the mean time can I just home school or register the kids at a school by my house and take them there during my weeks? Can I do this?

The schoools are NOT going to allow you to bring the children half time, not would her school. I wouold suggest a Petition for Emergency Hearing, even while mediation is pending.
We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.
