Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Family Law

The biological father of my child is and has been in prision since I was 3 weeks pregnant, he is threating to file for joint custody when he gets out if I file for child support. Can he do that? He has been to prison twice and this last time he was sentenced for 7years for a number of violent crimes in Arizona? He also will be living in Colorado when he is released with a women who I feel my child is not safe around. Okay so question is.... if he is paying child support does he have those rights as a father dispite his past?

Re: Family Law

He has a right to ask for it but you can vehemently argue against it. Just because he asks does not meant it will happen. When and if he does, feel free to contact me.
