Receipt's have been kept on this. The Mother leaves in Arizonia and the Father lives in Minnesota. Does he have any legal rights for visitation?? Also, his mother lives in Arizonia: Does she have legal rights to visitation and could she get child for one week to bring to minnesota for a vist??

Re: Fathers visitation rights
Father absolutely has the right to establish his parenting time with his children. It will require an Arizona Court order. We can absolutely help.
Grandmother may also have the right to seek "grandparent's visitation", but I would need to know more.
I can explain the issues and procedures better by phone or in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via e'mail. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.
Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation.

Re: Fathers visitation rights
Are the parents cooperating & working together? Has the fathers name been placed on the birth certificate? I would recommend that cooperating parents file with the County Clerk of the Court where the children live, requesting a custody/child support order. Most counties in Arizona have free mediation services where a neutral mediator will help set out all the details of visitation. If the children live with mom in Arizona, you can consult the Supreme Courts child support calculator online at http://www.supreme.state.az.us/childsup/ to find out how much a child support order would normally be ordered by a court. As to grandparents visitation, if everyone is in agreement about the visits, there shouldnt be any problems. If grandparents want visitation and the parent wont allow, they may have to file with the court. The fathers name may need to be on the birth certificate or paternity otherwise establish. By the way, if the child was born in Arizona, it is easy for the parents to both sign documents and submit to the state for paternity establishment. Information on the Arizona Hospital Paternity Program can be found online at http://www.de.state.az.us/dcse/mainfaqpage.asp. Good Luck.
