Although you may be limited in what the court can order in his absence, it is still possible to get divorced if you cannot locate the other party. The process is easier to explain in person, so please email me directly at [email protected] to provide additional information (how long have you been married? do you have children together? when was the last time you had contact with him?) etc. and I can provide you with more specific information.

We can serve him "by publication" (newspaper), but this limits the type of things you can request in your divorce decree. We also have experts that can look for him (for a fee, of course).

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
