Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
i am currently filing paperwork for complete custody of my son. In the mean time my ex is making my life miserable. Would it hurt my case if I decided to keep him from seeing my son until the court makes its decision? I live in AZ

No it would not be a good idea. You need to comply with your current parenting plan until a new order is in place. Modifying a custody order is an emotional event for everyone. If you would like assistance, please call Stephanie Coulter of this office at 602 462 1004 and perhaps we can help
You would not want to unreasonably restrict access. BUT, you would also not want to allow your child to go to a dangerous situation., SO, I WOULD need to know more.
We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Alicia or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
