Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

my ex gf is having my baby in a couple weeks. She is divorced and kept her married name. She has changed the first and middle name that we dicussed and is now telling me that she is giving the baby her last name; which is the last name of her ex husband. Obviously I don't agree with this. She has also told me that I can come visit the baby at her house for 4 hours every Sunday...but I cannot take him to my house. What rights do I have??

You have the right to seek orders regarding custody and access. You also have the right to ask that the child have your last name.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
