Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My granddaughter has not seen her 5.5 year old daughter in over 13 mos, and has made no effort to do so, what grounds can the dad that has full legal custody use to terminate her parental rights even though she pays court ordered child support? There is obviously no intrest on the mothers part to have a relationship with her child'

Thank you

Does Dad have someone he hopes can adopt the child? If so, Mother's lack of contact MAY be ebough, even though she is paying support.

It sounds like you have strong reasons to keep the children in the current situation.. It would be to your advantage to file now, BEFORE she attempts to relocate.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for divorce or legal separation. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
