Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I had a hearing on 9-3-10 in family court to modify a current custody and child support order. The response we got in the mail was that the judge was taking this under further advisement. It has been six weeks.I will be evicted from my apartment if the new child support order does not come soon, to relieve me of my wage garnishment .I am also not recieving fair visitation with my 13 year old son. Why is the judge taking so long to decide? How long can he wait.? Can I speed this up in any way?

Sincerely, Trey Creighton FC2002-003285 email [email protected]

The judge is allowed up to 60 days to rule when a matter is taken under advisement. One thing to keep in mind is that even if the judge does reduce or eliminate your support obligation, it may still take several weeks for that order to find its way to your employer to change the wage garnishment.

The Judge can take up to 60 days.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for enforcing your court ordered access.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
