Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My husband is active duty army. He is currently stationed in Washington State. I just caught him in an affair with another lower ranking soilder, so we are currently separated. I moved back home to Arizona with our 3 kids. I have opened a child support case here in Arizona. Now, my husband is telling me that I still have to abided by Washington State laws, even though I do not live in that state. Do I have to?
