Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My husband and I are getting divorce. We went through the divorce store and filed our paperwork. We are civil with eachother and were able to split everything. In the divorce papers it stated that the judge can change the child support from what was written ($300/month) he makes $4400 MORE than me a month and I pay all child care ($720/month) and hold the insurance, what is the likely hood that the judge will change it or do I need to go refile? Also, I have not been receiving child support til about a month ago do to the fact that my ex was "trying to keep the house and had no money" this was a lie and he bought himself a vipper car...since the divorce is not final, isn't this car still half mine? He is letting the house go and has no been paying on it at all.

The Judge is not likely to simply change the child support amount, and $300 per month seems woefully small for child upport under the circumstances you have described.

If your ex used money earned during the marriage to buy the Viper, than yes, you have a claim.

Also, depending on the length of the marriage and other factors, it seems you may have been able (and may still be able if you act quickly) to make a claim for spousal maintenance.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.
