Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Ex husband and I have joint custody. We did our divorce in Colorado while I was in Arizona with my children. He is now in Indiana not for a job transfer or to better his life and I dont want my kids to go there. How can I keep my kids from leaving the state of Arizona?

You could and should file a Petition to Modify the current Orders. His relocation warants a change. I would need to know more to insure that Arizona has the ability to do so (jurisdiction).

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
