Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
My husband left me to be with someone else. He moved into a house with her and her two kids. We own a house together and have an 18 month old child. Does he have to help pay the mortage on our house? We also have a car loan for my car together and his truck is paid off. Does he still have to help pay for this?

Your question is actually too complicated to answer by email, as there are several factors that go into determining each party's responsibilities for household obligations. We offer a free initial consultation, so I encourage you to contact our office and schedule a time to meet with one of our attorneys regarding the details of your situation.
I would need to know more details, but in general:
* he may have an obligation to assist you with monthly expenses under a spousal maintenance theory.
* he will likely have a child support obligation as well.
We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for legal separation or divorce. This is obviously a very important matter, and you should not go in alone.
One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
